Prototype verification. Your document is read in this browser and the image is never uploaded — only the fields you confirm are sent. This check reads a document; it does not authenticate one against its issuer, so treat the result as a demonstration.

Verify your account
Photograph your driving licence, passport or ID card. We read the details off it, you check they came out right, and that is verification done. You can bid before this — it is required before a machine is handed over.
Camera not cooperating? Enter it by hand
Paste the machine-readable lines from a passport, the barcode data from a licence, or just skip to the form.
The image is read in your browser. Only the fields you confirm are sent to us — the photograph itself is never uploaded, so there is no copy of your ID on our servers.
For a clean read
- Flat, in focus, no glare across the text
- All four corners in frame
- Passport: include the two lines at the bottom
- Licence: the side with your address
Reading a document confirms it is legible, in date, and — on passports — internally consistent to its own check digits. It does not prove the document is genuine or that it is yours. That needs an issuer check and a live selfie.
